Haven't been blogging in a while. Probably because I am working 3 jobs right now. Yes you read that right...3 jobs! 6 if you add in being a mom, wife and taking care of the house. Teaching all day, work at Stevie's on Friday nights and selling homemade gourmet on Saturdays at craft shows. And in between going to Leah's volleyball games, Luke's soccer practice and games, my life is a little on the hectic side to say the least. I forget how busy the fall is around this place! But I love it. It's my life. One day the kids will be grown and gone and I will miss all of this activity....but maybe I will be able to catch my breathe at the same time. Woo, I'm exhausted just typing all of the activities down.
Just to catch up, Leah was selected for the 7th grade science uil team yesterday! She had one of the highest scores for 7th grade!! I'm so proud of my baby girl!! And she is one of the star servers for the volleyball team. They pull her in when someone coming up can't serve. She will play a few rounds and they take her out to pull her in again when the next girl coming up can't serve. She scored 5 points last night to win the game! And her team won 3rd place in their tournament this past Saturday. I'm just sad I missed it. I'm soooo proud of who she is becoming! So smart and talented at the same time. I keep telling her if she is awesome in math and science she will win a scholarship to just about any college she wants to go to. I'm so excited for her future!
